So I made a lil calendar. 🎉 I'd like to share it with you.

The STICKERBOMB DIY Perpetual Calendar is a lil functional desk calendar that you can print, assemble and decorate to your heart's content! 💖

The whole thing is modular and can be customized with lots of pieces to choose from, which is why this here page was made, to help you mix and match your pieces and compile them for you, ready for printing!

Customize a your own do-it-yourself perpetual calendar by mixing and matching styles, colors and pieces!

How To Use

Go to the Make a Calendar page.
Go through each box and select your preferences, following instructions as stated for each field. Mix-and-match styles, colors, stickers and characters you wanna use. Make sure you've selected at least the Calendar Base and the Calendar Frame.
Once you're done, click the "Generate My Template" button to generate your template with all your picks.
Review the generated template, make sure you're good with your selections!
Right-click on the page and select Print. Or press ⌘+P (Mac) or Ctrl+P (Windows) or go to File » Print.
Check your print preview to make sure everything looks alright. Follow the Print Guide in the same page to help you figure out how to print or save/export your template.
Print your template with your trusty printer!

Now you can start building, just follow the Assembly Instructions! Happy Crafting!

Update Log

11/26/2024 - Site launch, feat. 2 backgrounds, 6 frames, extras, 1 set of doodle stickers + 85 chibi stickers. More chibis to be uploaded next week, and probably more background, frames and extras/stickers options in the future! :) For now this is the calendar, and for any questions/concerns/errors, feel free to contact me!

Assembly Instructions

WHAT YOU NEED

For the CALENDAR BASE & FRAME:
- A4/Letter-size cardstock or photo paper (min: 180gsm, best: 220gsm)
For STICKERS & OTHER DECOR:
A4/Letter-size board or photo paper (min: 120gsm)
...or print the sticker pieces on actual sticker paper!
glue/paste or double-sided tape
scissors/cutter, ruler
Optional: other materials you wanna use to decorate (e.g. pens/markers, your own stickers, washi tape, lil gems etc.)

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

The STICKERBOMB DIY Calendar is a modular calendar that lets you mix-and-match colors and styles to make & customize your own calendar. There are even “Black & White” versions that you can color in yourself after printing! :)

To make a calendar, make sure you print the following:

✓ 1 CALENDAR BASE design
✓ at least 1 CALENDAR FRAME design (you can make more to swap!)
✓ extras, to your preference (e.g. Month Tabs, Pocket/Envelope)
✓ stickers you wanna use to decorate your calendar

Once you have those, you’re all set to assemble your calendar!

CALENDAR ASSEMBLY

ASSEMBLY TIP: For best results, score along all the dotted lines before folding them! If you don’t have a bone folder, you can use a pen tip, a ruler edge, the tip of scissors, a stylus, or any pointed (but blunt) edge.

A. CALENDAR BASE

Cut out your calendar base along the outside lines. Score and fold along the dotted lines.
Lay the piece flat and find the 2 dashed lines at the top and the bottom of the center area with the numbers. (See below.) Cut along those 2 lines to make 2 separate slits in the piece.
Apply glue/tape to the bottom tab. Fold and assemble the piece like a tent to finish your Calendar Base! See below:

Feel free to decorate your calendar base with stickers and other decor as well, but I recommend adding in the FRAME first, so you’re sure that your decorations don’t clash with your FRAME’s movement.

B. CALENDAR FRAME

Cut out your calendar frame along the outside lines. Also cut out the empty space in the frame’s “window”, making sure to leave the light blue tabs in. Do NOT score or fold any part of this piece.
Decorate your frame! Cut out the stickers and decorations from the template, or get your own stickers, markers and other decorations.
Carefully slide the light blue tabs into the slits in your CALENDAR BASE.
Once it’s all in, make sure you can move it left and right along the base so you can set your months as you go.

Your calendar is basically done! Add some optional extras!

NOTE: Since this is a perpetual calendar, your months will always have 31 days. To avoid confusion, you can cover the extra days with something easily removable (e.g. a small piece of post-it, or some washi tape)

OPTIONAL: Month Tabs

Find the “cut lines” (dashed lines below) inside each month piece and carefully cut along those lines.
Cut out each Month Tab piece along the outside lines. You can now clip each Tab to the top of your frame, like a paperclip!

OPTIONAL: Envelope/Pocket

Pick out your envelope/pocket piece along the outside lines. Score and fold along all the inside lines.
Fold your two side flaps inward, and apply glue/tape. Assemble your envelope to hold your Month Tab or sticker pieces!
